Mattis seems very helpful and nice, but he also seems to be hiding some things, like when he tries to steal the worm medicine without telling Mia the real reason.

Mattis is a former assistant of Carina. The two are still on friendly terms and Mattis is clearly trying to take some of the work off her hands, even though he is probably doing it to steal the worming medication from her.
Mia[]
Mia is very cautious around Mattis because she can't really judge him. He is friendly to her, but something seems to be bothering her. After she catches him stealing, he is annoyed and doesn't want to justify himself to her. However, he is grateful to her for not telling Amato about it.
