Pieter is a character from Season 4, played by Philip Battley.
He first appears in "The Rainbow Bridge".
He is Mattis' father and a friend of Carina.
Pieter works as an architect.
He meets Mia when he wants to offer Carina a piece of cake. Mattis has already told him about the new assistant. But recently Mattis has a secret.
In the episode “The Lilac Grotto”, Pieter and Rabbit meet. Pieter is unsuspecting, but Rabbit is afraid and bites him.
In the episode "Under Attack", Pieter talks about an opportunity to advance his career. But this means moving to London, which also includes Mattis. A dog would just be in the way. But Mattis doesn't want to be separated from Rabbit and goes into hiding. Only Mia knows about it. Pieter realizes that he has made a mistake and abandons the move. He just wants Mattis back.
Finally, Pieter decides to take part in the auction for the villa. Mia persuades Carina to do the same. If they both share the villa, they have a better chance of winning it, and there is enough space for both of them.
