Renzo is Mia's grandfather. He is a vital character in Season 2 of Mia and Me.

Mia stays with him for the holidays and he owns a small farm. He makes delicious apple pies which he is well known for it among his family and friends. He owes 9000 rupees to the bank so, Mia and Mario sell his apple pies and also enter a horseback riding contest so that the reward money they would get if they won would help save his farm.

Mia is Renzo's Granddaughter. He cares a lot about her and doesn't want her to get hurt and wants her to stay safe.

Mario

Mario is Renzo's worker but, Renzo sees him as a grandson and doesn't want him to get hurt and wants him to stay safe.

Franca is Mario's grandmother. It's hinted that Renzo has a crush on her.

• Renzo's actor, Ray Lovelock, also dubbed his lines for the Italian version of Mia and Me. Renzo was the only character in Season 2 whose actor dubbed his own lines in the Italian version.
